The International Ag-Sieve is written for people working in the field in the
developing world, the Ag-Sieve contains the technical information that the
scientific community needs, and the practical information the field worker can
use but does not require a Ph.D. or a dictionary to understand.
We link the work of the major agricultural centers, the insights of the farmer,
the experience of the multidisciplinary development team, and the individual
researcher into an eight page newsletter that highlights breakthroughs in
sustainable agriculture.
Our audience functions as an Information Exchange Network. Readers contribute
information to the newsletter and also benefit from our reader information
service.
Recent thematic issues cover the latest in tropical forest products, training
opportunities in sustainable ag, seeds and biodiversity . Coming up are issues
dealing with home gardens, women in agriculture, and agroforestry. Our most
recent issue on IPM covers the East/Central/Southern African Integrated Pest
Management Implementation Workshop, held in Harare, Zimbabwe last April
We don't just expect you to sit back and read our articles; we want you to help
us write them. Every two months we will post several articles for you to read
and comment on before we publish them. Your comments and questions will be
incorporated into the finished version of the article. You get to read and
comment on articles before we even send the newsletter to the printer! Don't
miss this chance to stay on top of the latest news on regenerative agriculture.
Read the news before it's written!
