INTERNATIONAL COURSE IN NEMATOLOGY

July 13 - August 10, 1994
The Department of Nematology, University of California at Davis,
in collaboration with University Extension, is offering a four-
week intensive course on recognition, taxonomy, biology,
agricultural significance, and management of plant-parasitic,
insect-parasitic and free-living soil nematodes. The course will
include laboratory work and techniques for studying these
organisms. Field trips will complement the class and laboratory
sections of the course.
The course is intended for university level students of plant-
parasitic nematodes, and professionals such as research and
extension officers, advanced technical staff, commercial
advisors, and providers of diagnostic services.
Minimum academic preparation for acceptance is a B.Sc. degree (or
equivalent) in the biological or agricultural sciences.
