I just join internet and Sanet and San and cannot believe all the stuff on
the net. Thanks for the password to twosocks. Is there a database where
one can find all those goverment publications we used to get for free from
The cooperative extension Service years ago. What about the Fruit Crops
Fact Sheets or the stuff on grafting etc. Is that stuff on disk yet. Its
probably right there in front of me but where. Keep up the great work I
like the covercrop database ,as an organic farmer I need all the
information I can get on orgainc way to farm. Is there a data base on
benificials there life cycle or even on the bad bugs and there life
cycles? I will follow up any leads I get because I like this computer
edu. stuff. Where you can tap people around the world. I will tell you a
little trick that sometimes works to keep melybugs off the Chermoyas. I
put tape around the tree trunk then tanglefoot on the tape. you have to
make sure nothings touches the tree where ants can get up because if you
stop the ants you stop the problems. The darn ants are smart. I have seen
just one blade of grass touch the tree skirt and even in a wind the ants
would climb up into the tree. Any way to slow down these ants would be a
big help. I lost 80% of my Hass Avocados this year to thrips. any ideas.
if was a bad year for Avocados because the price was down anyway let alone
trying to sell good avocados that were scared by the thrips. The public
wants organic and perfect at the same time so I need all the knowledge I
can get. Learning a lot and looking for more .
thanks
