FARMERS AND RANCHER TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NAFTA

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Clinton and Secretary of Agriculture
Mike Espy will host a telephone conference call from the Oval Office
with a group of farmers and ranchers from around the country to talk
about the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) on Friday,
November 5 at 1:10 pm EDT.
Immediately following their call with the five families, the
President and Secretary Espy will take questions from farm
broadcasters representing major agricultural regions of the country.
The phone calls will take place from 1:10 pm - 2:00 pm EDT. A
listing of the participants speaking with the President and the
Secretary is attached.
Video for the President's conference call with both the families and
the radio broadcasters will be provided by satellite live, without
restriction, for television stations wishing to cover the President's
event.
