Intended audience: Producers, agricultural professionals, university faculty
and students, and Extension personnel.
Conference format: Nine farmers using sustainable practices will share their
experiences with the audience. The conference is designed so that all
participants will be able to hear all presenters in concurrent small group
discussions with ample opportunity for questions, answers and discussion.
Objectives:
1. Increase awareness of sustainable farming practices now being used and
create broader ownership in the principles associated with sustainable
agriculture among a variety of sizes and types of production systems.
2. Discover sustainable farming practices that may be adaptible to other
operations.
3. Exchange information among participants about sustainable farming practices.
