We at the University of Maryland Department of Agronomy wish to scrap our
traditional Crop Science major for lack of student interest, and create a
new major in "Sustainable Agriculture". We are very interested in seeing
what courses and other requirements are part of the SA programs at other
Universities. Please send a short description of your program, courses and
goals via e-mail or post. Course syllabi would also be of interest to reveal
the content of the courses. We want ours to be a meaningful, integrated
study of sustainable agriculture, not just the same old thing under a new
title. Thanks for any info or ideas you can provide.
