After reading the latest sustainable agriculture news I couldn't help
commenting upon the proposal to spray polyacrylamide (PAM) on fields.

PAM is used for polyacrylamide gels in molecular biology labs. It is very
expensive and it its unpolymerized form (acrylamide) is a potent
neurotoxin. PAM also has a tendency to depolymerize at high temperatures
(ie. 65 to 70 celsius).

Unless the PAM they are using in fields is very different, this seems like
very risky proposal.
