REPORTS ON PESTICIDE REGULATORY ISSUES

At the September 22 public hearing of the House Agriculture
Subcommittee on Department Operations and Nutrition, USDA Deputy
Secretary Richard Rominger, EPA Administrator CAROL BROWNER, and
FDA Commissioner DAVID KESSLER presented testimony on proposed
reforms of national pesticide and food safety laws.
Three joint EPA/USDA/FDA documents about pesticides and food
safety reform are now available electronically. They are
described below with directions for obtaining them.

2. Testimony of FDA/USDA/EPA officials before Subcommittee
on Department Operations and Nutrition Committee on
Agriculture, U.S. House of Representatives.
3. Executive Summary of above testimony.
