Luebke's Compost-Humus Seminar Schedule

Controlled microbial composting (CMC), as developed by Siegfried
and Uta Luebke of Austria, is an important contribution to
sustainable agriculture. Yet, CMC is largely unkown in the
landgrant university system and farm media.

The Luebke's have spoken at two of the major alternative farming
conferences in the U.S., the Eco-Farm Conference at the Asilomar
Conference Center in Monterey, CA, and at the Acres, U.S.A.
conference in Kansas City, MO. Their knowledge of microbial
activity in composts and soils and soil humus management through
composting and green manuring is based on extensive on-farm and
laboratory research.

On rare occasion, they also conduct workshops in the U.S. In
November, the Luebke's will be giving two seminars.

One is on Soil Humus Management and the second on Controlled
Microbial Composting. The organizer is George Leidig of Autrusa
Compost Consulting (P.O. Box 1133, Blue Bell, PA 19422). Leidig
studied with the Luebke's in Austria for 3 years.

Advanced registration and deposit are required. For more
information and registration, contact George Leidig at (215)
825-2973.
