Peter Griesinger, has produced and directed several sustainable
agriculture videos, including "INTRODUCTION TO ECOLOGICAL
ECONOMICS, with Gaylord Nelson, Herman Daly and John Cobb," and
"CONVERSATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY, with Amory and Hunter
Lovins, Dennis Meadows, Dana Jackson, David Orr and others."
He is looking for video footage for an upcoming production on
ecological economics. Peter needs examples of chemically-intensive
agriculture as practiced in Latin America or India. Tractors,
nozzles, clouds of mist. He wants to illustrate how this
technology strains the Earth's carrying capacity.
I am hoping that someone who reads sanet-mg, or any other group
that gets this message, might have recorded examples of Western-
style conventional agriculture at these locales while on a trip.
So, if you have the kind of footage I've described on VHS, 3/4" or
HI-8 tape, please contact Peter Griesinger at the number above. He
needs this video by Friday, October 8, 1993.
