I just read about a joint USDA/EPA project called the Environmental
Monitoring and Assessment Program. Apparently there is an agroecosystem
component whose mandate is to establish a baseline databank for
agricultural lands in the US. I am interested in investigating the
possibilities of a similar project in Canada. Does anyone know where this
project is based, or any contacts/ literature regarding the project???

I am also interested in indicators of agricultural sustainability.
