FACULTY POSITION IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AT COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY IN FORT COLLINS.
Assistant Professor. Nine Month. Tenure Track. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications: BLA or BSLA and MLA degrees required. Scholarly and creative capabilities to effectively conduct and support teaching, research,, and service missions of the university. Demonstrated professional experience in landscape architectural site design and site construction technology. Ability to advance the principles of sustainable landscape ecology that inform the program's teaching, research, and service mission. Interest in, and appreciation for, integrating advanced technologies within the profession. Ability and leadership qualities to work effectively with students, other faculty, and the various constituents of the profession.
Responsibilities: Overall responsibilities include: teaching, scholarly research, advising students, and service consistent with department, college, and university policies. Specific responsibilities include teaching landscape architectural site design and site construction technology courses. Specific advising responsibilities include: academic advising of students, assisting students with special studies and projects and career placement. Appointee will have responsibility for maintaining an effective working relationship with designers/planners in private/public practice and the Colorado Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
