I received a request from Ray Evans at the Missouri Department of
Conservation this last week. He is asking for a bibliography of
studies that demonstrate the impact of sustainable agricultural
practices on wildlife (a rather BROAD topic).

I am researching the question through our resources at ATTRA, but if
anybody on sanet has information to share I would appreciate it.
Specifically, do we have any hard evidence that fish or wildlife
benefit from a transistion to "sustainable" farming practices? Is
there any information on the converse - that wildlife species are
negatively impacted by the adoption of sustainable practices.

Please respond directly to me at my email address below. Thanks for
any input you can provide. If requested, I can post my reply to Mr.
Evans after the case goes out.

BTW, Ray has already contacted Ann Robinson and Louis Best in Iowa,
and Pete Bromley in North Carolina (at least he said he was going
to).

Thanks.
