The Associated Press reported on August 17, that President Clinton will
nominate University of Wisconsin professor Luis Sequeira Assistant
Secretary for Science and Education. The Cooperative State Research Service,
ES and ARS all come under Science and Education.
The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program is
administered by the CSRS. The Extension Service and the Agriculture Research
Service also have sustainable agriculture programs.
