We seek to establish contact with individuals doing innovative research in
the field of integrated pest management, vegetable systems/urban
gardening, and women run agricultural projects in the developing world.
Specifically, we are interested in on-going projects in these topic areas that
are happening in, or directly applicable to tropical conditions.
The information is for forthcoming issues of the International Ag-Sieve
newsletter. The Ag-Sieve is a network newsletter for researchers and
extensionists working in the field of sustainable agriculture in the Tropics.
The newsletter covers breaking news in sustainable agriculture,
information that you can use.
Recent issues cover topics such as Seeds & Biodiversity, Tropical Forest
Products, Training Opportunities in Sustainable Agriculture Worldwide,
Pastoralism, and Aquaculture. For a sample copy, just send us your
mailing address. If you have friends working in the field in the tropics that
could use this information let us know, well send them a copy.
We are working on ways to circulate Ag-Sieve via electronic
communications in the near future.
