Vegetarians - are there any?

One person expressed concern about my comment on those who are against
eating animal products and replied direct to me that some vegetarians were
good athletes. I then asked -

> Are they pure vegetarians, i.e., "eat no meat or animal products"?
>
> Do they take vitamin supplements?
>
> Do they take iron supplements?
>
> How do they get on when old and their appetite decreases?

Their answer was -

"All good questions. Most are ovo-lacto type of vegetarians. They
do eat animal protein. Yes also to supplements. Don't know about
when they age. (Their eating habits aren't reported in magazines
when they're old and washed-up.)"

So I say that many call themselves vegetarians, but very few are.

Man is made to eat meat and drink milk. I love them - in moderation.
(Women are allowed some too! And I love them too - one anyway.)

Best wishes
