We are having exactly the same problem. We begin a three-year program to
develop a Permaculture Design research, demonstration, education, outreach
and resource center on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya. The man that
the local organization has chosen to become director has been seeking a
hands-on apprenticeship largely because most of his previous work has been in
the field of (computer) data management, though in related fields.
Strangely, his name is similar--Peter Omolo.

We are in the process of buying our own land here in Florida and so can't
assure an internship at our place.

I'll print out and forward your posting to the Permaculture Education
Foundation and Network in Kenya in case there could be a future
collaboration. Meanwhile, I propose that we exchange any leads on
internships and related funding for these guys.

We don't have time to rush.
