To add to Willie's answer, there's also talk of the production and
employment of "food and food-related products" by everyone from the farm
to the supermarket. Some states (I won't mention which) like to throw
all that income generation under "agricultural sector" to boost the numbers.
Like any nice word with upstanding Latin roots, "agriculture" has grown
up and taken on a meaning all its own. Vergil probably wouldn't approve.
