commercial sunflower production

I have been contacted by a vegetable grower in western Massachusetts
who wants to begin growing sunflowers commercially. Does anyone
out there know of any resources on production practices, pest
management preacitces, varieties, harvesting equipment, etc. for
commercial production (primarily for seed but possibly for ornamental
purposes, too).
