Associate Project Manager. Shares responsibility for management
and successful outcome of the ATTRA project, administered by the
National Center for Appropriate Technology, a national, private
nonprofit organization. Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, ATTRA
(Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas) provides
written information on sustainable agriculture practices in
response to farmers' requests received via telephone. Position
requires five years or more experience in management,
supervision, problem solving; and requires strong communication,
organizational and interpersonal skills. Other experience
desirable includes: sustainable agriculture, electronic
information management, publications development, and/or business
development and marketing.
