Global Farming Systems is looking for a bilingual Chinese consultant for work
on Mainland China, primarily. They must have extensive background in
large cropping systems and sustainable agricultural ideology. We specifically
need someone who has done field work and research. The person must be a
self-starter who will function without much day-to-day supervision and
demonstrate this in the CV and or references.

The position may entail either a consulting or full-time position depending on
the qualifications of the individual.

Thank you for your interest in Global Farming Systems, Ltd. and
their product BIOL.I.F.E.=AE . It will be helpful for future
discussions to give you a glimpse of our philosophy and company
charter.

Everyone believes the future of farming must be in sustainable
agricultural techniques supported by both old and some new
techniques and technology. The core to a sustainable
agricultural program are techniques and products that will
reduce, without negative side affects of cost or yield loss,
other toxic inputs and costs. Our main product for discussion is
called BIOL.I.F.E.=AE. BIOL.I.F.E.=AE is a liquid inoculate complex
biomass with free-living aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms
proven capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen at a rate
sufficient to support crop growth, increase yields, reduce costs,
reduce or eliminate many other toxic chemicals, and help to
reverse years of soil damage.

We are looking for someone who has experience in large and
cropping scenarios and sustainable agriculture. We work with
large distributors or governments in sales of our product.

We have demonstrated that BIOL.I.F.E.=AE has the ability to support
crop growth, regardless of the demand put upon the product, even
under adverse growing situations including severe draught and do
so while replacing up to 80% of the nitrogen needs. In many
cases BIOL.I.F.E.=AE reduces or in some cases eliminates pesticides1
and fungicides2. Inherent in the success of the company and its
products is the need to change practices of the growers to a
sustainable practice which will lead, as you know, to healthier
soils, less toxins in the environment, better foods, and less
cost, therefore more profit. These goals must be accomplished
without sacrificing yields and profit. We can do this with
BIOL.I.F.E.=AE . We have demonstrated this for fours years in
various research settings and will continue to expand the
research base in 1996. Our research has been done in the United
States, China, Mexico, and Zimbabwe.

We are wanting to work with governments and organizations with
similar goals. In each country where we are successful with our
products we will contribute a portion of our gross profits in
that country to establish a sustainable agricultural institute.
We do not want to run the organization we simply want to be a
catalyst behind the scenes and help guide appropriate staff in
the country.

1994 BIOL.I.F.E.=AE RESULTS IN CHINA

BIOL.I.F.E.=AE is a liquid microbiological fertilizer developed by
the United States with many years of research and finally
entering early development stage in the 1990's. It is a compound
that comprises multi-species nitrogen-fixing bio-organisms, plus
some enzymes which can stimulate plants' growth and production.
It also supplies nutrients to the micro-organisms for their
sustenance and growth. Further, these enzymes also multiply by
themselves, thus providing continuous nutrients to the micro-
organisms. The liquid compound also contains material which
causes the micro-organisms to remain in a state of hibernation
while in storage.

Research results in the United States have shown it will increase
the micro-organism and enzyme-content in the soil as well as the
soil activities. It also increases the positive ion exchange
capability of the soil. It will also raise the soil's
capabilities to retain water and nutrients. It also increases
the nitrogen fertilizer's effectiveness. Results in the United
States have shown that BIOL.I.F.E.=AE can grossly reduce the need
for chemical nitrogen fertilizers. Under medium nitrogen
fertilizer usage conditions, BIOL.I.F.E.=AE will increase
productivity by 17-21%. Commercial usage of the product has now
begun in the Unites States, Latin America, and Africa.

After receiving the United States Central Pacific's good support,
as well as care and support from the Nantong City Government,
Nantong City Political Consultative Conference, and the City
Science Technology Commission, we imported the soil revival
agent, BIOL.I.F.E.=AE, and under the supervision of the Custom's
Office, two years' experimentation were conducted by the Jiangsu
Province, Yangzi River Region Agricultural Bureau, and Qidong
City's Agricultural Technology Development Center.

These experiments have shown under medium level nitrogen
fertilizer usage (50-60 kg/acre vs. 100-120 kg/acre) in
combination with the soil revival agent (BIOL.I.F.E.=AE), the corn
yields increased by 17.9 - 31%. Cotton, has shown a 20% increase
in the number of cotton bolls. These results have clearly shown
that BIOL.I.F.E.=AE has a beneficial effect in reducing nitrogen
fertilizer usage and increased yields. Also, BIOL.I.F.E.=AE does
not have any harmful side effects. Thus in 1994, again with the
leadership of the Nantong Political Consultative Jiangsu
Province, Yangzi River Region Agricultural Bureau, were
responsible for organizing a comprehensive testing program. The
tests were done at the following institutes:

A total of eight (8) organizations participated in these trials
to further ascertain BIOL.I.F.E.=AE effectiveness in China, under
different growth conditions, it's suitability and applicability.
These eight test centers with two separate trials have given
results as per the attached table.

In general, under normal fertilizer usage (90 kg/acre) with the
complement of soil revival agent, corn yields were increased my
approximately 7%. At reduced nitrogen fertilizer levels, but
complemented with BIOL.I.F.E.=AE, the effectiveness of the compound
is more pronounced. The return as measured per unit of
fertilizer is vividly increased, thus increasing return on
investment.
