Investigational Officer (Organic Farming)

Applications are invited for the above post on a MAFF-funded study of the
financial performance of organic farms. The main duties involve the
collection of financial and physical data from organic farmers participatin=

in the study, the analysis of farm accounts, compilation of reports and
participation in associated teaching and research.

Candidates should have a degree, HND or similar qualification in
agricultural economics, agricultural business management, agriculture or a
related subject. Experience in recording and analysing farm accounts,
familiarity with computer spreadsheets, practical farming experience and
familiarity with organic farming would be further advantages. =20

The appointment will be for a fixed term of three years, subject to a
probationary period lasting six months. Salary will be on the scale =A312,2=
96
- =A318,294.
