At the local bookstore this weekend, the clerk and I were lamenting
their poor selection of agricultural books. He asked me to create a
list of books that they ought to carry. Can you help me?
Please suggest any good books you have read
recently about the food system. Topics can range from the
technical to the social and ethical. The bookstore is next to a
liberal arts college, so some academic reading would be acceptable,
but concentrate on books for a general audience.
Send the name, author, and a one- to two-sentence description of
your favorite books directly to me. I will send the resulting
bibliography out to the whole group.
Thanks for your help,
