I've found these discussions on organic farming interesting. I'm
interested on getting information on what the USDA standards for organic
commodities and on what principles they are to be founded on. Once a cow
has had antibiotics, will it's milk ever be "organic." If a cow is on an
organic farm, if it is fed some commercially raised grain in order to
make the winter, will her beef be considered "organically raised," can
her calves meat ever be? If ground has had chemicals on it, how long
will it be until it's products could be considered "organically grown"?
Just wondering how the USDA will weigh in on these issues.
