Attention: Farmers Markets Managers and Farmers Market Sellers (Vendors):
I would appreciate some help with a new project, a survey/report
tentatively titled: "Farmers Markets '96". Based on interviews and
questionnaires from growers and managers, it will cover the latest farmers
market tips and trends including hot products (fresh and value-added),
display ideas, merchandising and selling tips, farmers market promotions,
key issues and challenges, and more. I believe it will be very helpful to
farmers selling at farmers markets, as well as managers trying to promote
their markets. So if you are either a farmers market manager or a grower
who sells at farmers markets, and would like to participate in this survey,
please send me an e-mail message (newworld@el-dorado.ca.us) and request a
"Farmers Market '96 Questionnaire".. Be sure to indicate whether you are a
grower or a manager so I'll know which questionnaire to send you. I'll be
glad to send you an e-mail copy of the report when it's finished. Thanks,
