The non-technical summary relates to findings of a project related to the
use of cover crops in conservation tillage systems applicable to the
southern US. Specifically, information is given about two new reseeding
legume cover crops, on how soon these cover crops produce hard seed after
blooming, on management to allow no-till cotton planting soon after cover
crops are killed by mowing, and about weed control impacts of cover crop
residue mulches.
