I have some organic farmer friends in California who are seeking some
information on organic farming on muck soils. What are the pluses and
minuses of muck soils for organic farming? What sorts of problems are they
likely to encounter? How might those problems be overcome? The specific
soil types are: "Egbert muck" and "Staten peaty muck". Sorry, I don't
have any more information on these soils at the moment, but expect to
fairly soon.

farming on mucks soils or indirect knowledge in this area and would like to
