Hi,
I am a student doing research on the soils found in my area. I looked
around, and could not find the classification of the soil type found in my
area, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I dug through the dark brown A horizon to
find a sandy brown layer. The third layer below it consisted of a high
proportion of glacial deposited stones in sand.
If anyone can direct me to maps, or even the classification of this area, it
would be greatly appreciated. The maps I looked at do not have soil
classifications of urban areas, and books I found are of no help.
