I am fairly new to this discussion group and am hoping you can help me. As I
have watched the discussion of this group I have been very impressed by the
willingness of list members to share their wealth of information, and have found
much of the information very helpful in my work. I work for the Center for
Integrated Natural Resources and Agricultural Management (CINRAM) at the
University of Minnesota and am also a graduate student in the Forest Resources
program. One of my interests (and an interest of CINRMA) is how agroforestry
practices fit into sustainable systems. What I'd like to know from this group
is how (if) the sustainable ag community sees agroforestry practices fitting
into sustainable agricultural systems? I'd be very grateful for any of your
thoughts/experiences/insights.
I have an additional request. CINRAM, in collaboration with the Association for
Temperate Agroforestry, is currently putting together an agroforestry web site
and I am interested in finding out what information people would like to see on
the web site. I am interested in both kinds of information (e.g. "how to"
documents, bibliographies, etc.) and any actual materials that you think would
be useful to people using the site.
I will send the URL for our agroforestry web site once it is a bit more
developed.
