graphical interface with Internet, including PANNA
resources on EcoNet gopher. PANNA home page links to
PESTIS, an online database of pesticide reform related
articles, newsletters, reports and action alerts;
selected PANNA Reports; back issues of PANUPS and
Resource Pointers; and other relavent web sites covering
range of topics, including pesticides, sustainable
agriculture, integrated pest management and health. For
those without access to world wide web, PANNA section of

*The 1994 Rio Grande Toxics Study: An Evaluation and
User's Guide, 1995." Mary Kelly and Dr. Salvador
Contreras. Collaborative effort between Mexican and U.S.
NGOs investigates Mexico-U.S. government study of Rio
Grande/Rio Bravo water quality, including contamination
by pesticides, and explains findings of that study.
Calls for more rapid dissemination of water quality
data, and argues that the government study minimizes
significance of results. Criticizes study for using
potentially unreliable test methods and neglecting to
disclose test's limitations, and says study does
document significant water contamination by toxics in
