Hello...
I am in the process of doing a literature review on how roots modify the
soil environment. I am looking for literature describing the effect of roots
on soil parameters such as: water content, porosity, pH, particle size
distribution, nutrient concentrations, bulk density, soil atmosphere, total
carbon...
I recently read an interesting article describing how TDR was used to
measure nocturnal release of water by corn roots. I would appreciate any
recommendations for literature describing how roots modify their soil
environment.
