The Midwest SAWG is working on a direct marketing resource notebook. We want
to include examples, stories, case studies, illustrations, etc... of
sustainable ag organizations and producers who have embarked on creative
direct marketing projects. (Direct marketing, in this case, includes CSA. We
are also interested in examples of marketing cooperatives.) Our intent is
that these stories can be used to give people new ideas, help them with their
own direct marketing efforts, and provide networking opportunities.
If you are doing any kind of direct marketing work, or if you are working on
a related project, please send us your story (or stories). We want to know
what you are doing, what got you interested in direct marketing, how you got
started, best and worst moments, how its going now, what you wish you had
done differently, and anything else you wish to share.
