I am an undergraduate at Cornell who is conducting honors research on the
differing approaches to communication between Cooperative Extension and
sustainable farmers. My basic premise is that there is the potential for
mutally beneficial exchange of information between Cooperative Extension
and sustainable farmers but this opportunity is thwarted by ideological
conflicts or institutional incompatibility, to name a couple. I want to
examine how these obstacles can be circumvented. If anybody has any
suggestions, I would certainly appreciate the assistance.
